I may have found the side where the grass is greener
I made a fort!
Doesn't spring just warm your heart?
Our yearly Analyzing Japan reunion picnic. Which culminated in great photos such as this.
Emi's sketches for us on our door. Can't you see the resemblance?
The last of our amaryllis flowers. Over the last two week we've had two others come and go. Thanks Nana for the beautiful plant.
Looking back at the pictures from the Sculpture Garden. This quote is my favorite among all those on the benches. I find humor helps to temper sadness.
Saw Gustavus' Arabian Nights show tonight. Fantastic all around. My friend Ben, on the right, is enduring a weekend of spray tan for his role. But he and the rest of the cast were hilarious and superb. And these great costumes were made possible by my other talented friend Ariel.
Happy Earth Day! A group on campus was giving out earrings made from bottlecaps and pictures. I found Kate and Leo; they make a great pair.
Casey's thrilled with our nightly outing
Due to overwhelming amounts of homework today, I had no chance to enjoy the beautiful day. So I live vicariously through pictures.
When you've done photo shoots everywhere else, sometimes you have to get creative.
My successful first attempt at making bread. Going to become a new favorite pastime of mine.
A beautiful day at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden with Kate (who got a DSLR for her birthday). So lots of pictures taken.
French Connection
On the back of an old salt can I keep in my dorm. The Morton Salt Girl is my idol in fashion, philosophy and food.
Casey and I snuck up behind this owl like wild-life photographers....until we realized it was fake.
Lil' Ladybug
Have I mentioned how much I love spring at Gustavus? This is the only time of year Prospies should be able to visit.
A traditional Swedish breakfast prepared by Professor Eliason, our faculty leader for Sweden study abroad. A part of our group met at his house, ate breakfast, and chatted and laughed for hours.
I spy with my little eye...new flowers!
Enjoying the day.
My new favorite spot on campus. It's like a little alcove of tranquility.
Spring has finally arrived at Gustavus! Flowers and sun makes everyone a little less stressed.
I've been counted! Hmm, perhaps Gustavus will have to rethink its slogan "Make Your Life Count". The census has already counted mine.
Gee, St. Peter, thanks for the beautiful welcome home from Spring Break. False.
The house has a faint beeswax smell to it again. This time Nana, Jean, Johan, Nils and Linnea came by for Ukrainian eggs. I think we're starting a new trend!
In honor of spring cleaning day, I'm doing some spring cleaning with some oldie pictures. Not only is this picture cute, but I noticed Nils is wearing a Gustavus sweatshirt! We've had Gustie pride since before I attended.
Mirrors of fashion
I'm choosing to show the world Kate's more gorgeous side as opposed to the (many) pictures of her scowling/sticking her tongue out/looking like an old man. Even though I love her for her many personalities.
