Matthew's Mighty Mates at the Walk to Cure Diabetes. The group raised almost 9,000 dollars towards diabetes research. Every year the Walk is a great source of strength and hope. And just a whole lot of fun.

Casey and I chilled at the Mankato Caribou in the morning before I had to work a 7 hour banquet shift. Gross. But Caribou made my day. :)

This 3x5 is proof of my wacky experience with an illusionist on campus tonight. We were told to write our name, a fact this guy would never know, a number, and a question. Out of the whole audience, he chose a few while very, very blindfolded. He asked "Is there a Sonja here?" Shocked, I said yes. He went on to correctly list off everything else. I was shaking the rest of the night.

Instead of venturing out into the cold depths of St. Peter winter, Casey decided to draw her desk for her Drawing class. But perhaps drawing snowy dead trees is in her future?

Back to school, and the trip back is not complete without a stop to the local coffee shop, River Rock. With the charming atmosphere, delicious coffee & food, and indie music, it's like a little piece of the cities in St. Peter.

The stain glass was aglow as Wednesday night activities kicked off at Bethlehem. As the basement sings children songs, the main floor is buzzed by coffee and conversation, while the third floor entertains teenagers for confirmation.
